Scratchy is a cartoon cat from the Itchy & Scratchy show. An obvious parody of Tom and Jerry. His enemy is Itchy, a blue mouse. In almost all episodes, Scratchy is brutally injured and sometimes killed by Itchy. There are only three episodes in which Scratchy is not injured, the episode in which Poochie makes his debut on the show, 1933’s Dogday Hellody the one in which a Scratchys jury finds a dog on trial guilty, and the only episode in which Itchy is injured by Scratchy.
