In the tutorial you will see it is shown as creating a realistic Motion Blur in Maya. As you know when an object moves very fast and is seen through a camera with some settings, you get a motion blur effect on moving objects. The effect depends on several factors such as light intensity, as well as a camera’s aperture and shutter speed settings.
