Chief Clarence “Clancy” Wiggum is a character from the animated series The Simpsons. Voiced by Hank Azaria, he is the chief of police in Springfield. He is the father of Ralph Wiggum and the husband of Sarah Wiggum. The character’s comic prowess largely depends on his incompetence and irresponsibility as a police officer. Chief Wiggum’s most responsible officers, Eddie and Lou, portray straight men to his cheating.
